Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Dan Jones

Last weekend was spent with another one of our great couples, Dan & Jessie Jones.  They were so much fun to work with and were up for anything, we took some of our best fun portraits yet.

This past Saturday marked our three weekends in a row weddings coming to an end. It was a bittersweet ending. We spent Saturday with Nicole and Brent in Lima, OH. It was such a great weekend. They were married at St. Gerards church in Lima, OH. It was one of the largest wedding parties we have ever had, there were 22 including the ring bearer and flower girl, it was so much fun working with everyone. The kids were super cute and the flower girl was a huge help and the ring bearer was so cute, every time we would take his picture he would smile so big and say CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE until the flash went off.

We spent Saturday with Katie & Nick. It is truly a blessing to get to be with all of our couples on their special day. It takes you back to your special day. They are such a fun and cute couple. The day went perfectly. The weather was beautiful, a bit hot maybe, but who cares when your celebrating something this wonderful. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from that day. I think we took one of my all time favorite pictures that night.

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Daronne Goree

We spent Saturday in Merrillville with another one of our great couples, Chantill and Daronne. The day started off a little bit frustrating but ended up beautifully. They were such a sweet and fun couple. You could see their deep love for each other and their friends and family in their eyes. Here are a few of our favorite moments from the day.

WOW what a great weekend we had. Saturday was spent with another one of our great couples Alex and Jessica on their big day. Their wedding was one of the most beautiful weddings we have ever covered. I highly recommend St. Casimir to anyone looking for a Stunning church to have their wedding in. We had the most fun at their reception that we have ever had, their families like to party and it was so much fun. We did something new that we haven't ever done with a couple before and that was in between the ceremony and the reception we went down to Battell Park and took some really fun pictures. Mr. & Mrs. Steven Carlson

What a great weekend we had with Megan and Steven. It started on Friday night with a great rehearsal and some of the cutest lil kids I have seen in a long time. Saturday was an absolutly beautful day with lots of sunshine. You couldn't ask for a more perfect day. Megan and Steven were so much fun to shoot on their big day! Their wedding Mass was beautiful and reminded all in attendence of the mystery and wonderment of marriage. We had a first at the reception, the bride and groom both smashing cake in the other's faces, it was all over them all over the floor and Megan never stopped smiling!!! Katie and Nick

You talk about a fun filled weekend!! We haven't had a fun weekend like this in forever. We spent Saturday morning and Sunday early evening with one of our great couples, Katie and Nick. We were a bit worried Saturday morning because of the rain but it finally let up and the sun came out for us. We spent Saturday morning at the Japanese Gardens in Mishawaka and then Sunday evening up at the St. Joe Michigan lighthouse. We got some of our best pictures yet up at the lighthouse, but that's easy when you have such a fun, and in love couple as Katie and Nick. It was a bit cold up on the lake but they were troopers and you would of never of known it. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the weekend, I would put them all up if I could. :-)

Unexpected find while shopping

We were at Sams Club last night buying a few things for 2 engagement sessions this weekend and after shopping we decided let's go to Hacienda for dinner. After driving over there we saw it was WAY to crowded for our liking so we decided then well how about Subway, so as we are driving across the parking lot to get to Subway, I noticed something in the tree I didn't expect to see. So I whipped the car into a parking spot and pulled out my trusty, never leave home without, Canon point an shoot camera and took a few pictures.

New Website

Happy Friday everyone!!!

It's been a pretty tiring past couple of days, I spent 9 hours yesterday re-doing the front page of our website. I thought it was time to upgrade and update our front page. I took out some older pictures and put in some new ones. That will be happening a lot this summer as we have a busy wedding season upon us and I can't wait.

I have known the bride for over 21 years and was so excited when she said she was getting married that I insisted she let us do her wedding as our gift to them.
